Project Overview:
IAHE (International Alliance of Healthcare Educators is a site dedicated to the presentation of high-quality educational programs for interested healthcare professionals from all disciplines.
My Role:
My roles were to help program some of the front-end elements in to the site as well as help maintain and update the site per the client's requests. Frequent database updates and additions as well as code changes to functionality.
I currently maintain the entire system, handle change requests, as well as provide support. Typically, I implement new features and enhancements to the existing application utilizing JAVA, Velocity Templates, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. I also help prioritize the clients requests to help make sure the most important or outstanding issues are handled in a timely manner.
Tools Commonly Used:
Visual Studio.NET - for creating and modifying existing java classes.
DOS - for compiling or building the newly created or altered java class files.
Text Editors - for creating and modifying existing Velocity templates and other formatting.
Photoshop - for creating and manipulating existing imagery.
