Project Overview:
You are currently viewing version 3.0 of my personal web site that at one point contained a blog, portfolio, media archives (now just My DVD Movies), and a toolbox. The site itself was and still is completely data-driven and utilizes a templating system, making updates quick and easy through administration screens I also provide to help maintain all aspects of content through-out the site.
My Role:
I designed and programmed the entire site from front to back and at one point added features like the ability to increase or decrease text sizes, tell a friend, perform searches, and more.
The current site itself serves as a portfolio peace of sorts as I currently employ and take advantage of the most recent technologies such as CSS2. If you were to view some of the source code, you would quickly realize this current site uses no tables. Everything is layed-out and styled utilizing CSS. While many companies still strive for backwards compatible systems, I have the luxury with this site to not be so concerned with backwards compatibility. Any company I am interested in working for certainly has an up-to-date browser.
